is this thing on?

Yes, I'll still here.

I really do plan on posting about lemon water.

But right now....
Our choir is doing an interesting Easter cantata this year. It's broken up into 3 parts. There is a portion of songs for Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter morning. This means we performed some songs Sunday morning for Palm Sunday. We're performing the Good Friday portion tonight for the Good Friday service and then some more songs Easter morning. AND, we're doing the whole cantata tomorrow night. Whew!

AND, the kids choir has a song in the Palm Sunday portion which Rachel is a participant. So, guess what? Busy busy busy this week with rehearsals and performances. However, since it's broken up into 3 parts: there are several songs in each group. Typically Easter cantatas have one Hosanna song, a few Good Friday songs and a lot of Easter morning songs. This one is equally distributed and so very powerful.

Since today is Good Friday, here are some lyrics from one of the songs in our cantata.

Jesus Paid the Highest Price

Bleeding Shepherd sacrificed;
Thou hast paid too high a price
to reach and save the weak and small
and wrap Your arms around them all.
When love laid down upon the cross,
hope sprang up and called out to us,
"Sin's great debt now satisfied,
Jesus paid the highest price."
