I'm in love and I don't care who knows it

In case you're wondering, my post title is a quote from the movie, Elf. Here's a clip, it loops several times, so you've been warned. It just cracks me up.

So what I am in love with? Well, here's the girly girl in me talking. CLOTHES!

Remember when I lamented last fall about a clothing line I had discovered? No? You can refer to this post.

Well, someone very thoughtful who reads this blog gave me a giftcard for Christmas! What?!? Isn't that the bestest thing ever? Truthfully, I wasn't sure because I wondered...are the clothes as nice as they look? What if they're just over-priced and don't really fit right?
I ordered these 3 items on clearance.

The fabric is so incredibly soft, the clothes are very well made and they fit beautifully. No bunching, pulling, tugging...just complete comfort.

Plus they're from the UK, their packaging is rather different and interesting. Check out this little blurb about returning something.

I have since ordered a few more items using a smidge of our tax return. Since I ordered the first time (thanks to the giftcard which started it all), I now get promos and free shipping offers, etc. And, I realize I can't get everything from them but I get ideas from their catalogue and see if I can find it elsewhere. If not, I may just order one piece to complete the outfit. For example, after I got the skirt, I ordered a royal purple cardigan (with a special sale going on) to match because I can't find that colour anywhere this side of the pond.

I must say I've never been this excited about clothes, ever.

Cheerio Boden!

love love LOVE the clothes!! now you are speaking my language :) i definitely want to order some stuff from there - those 2 tops and skirt you got are sooo cute!! doesn't it just make you feel SO good to wear something pretty! esp. if it's super comfy, too! i get in a rut sometimes (usually if i gain a little weight or if i'm just home with the kids for a long stretch of days), but i am really trying to wear cute stuff and at least one accessory :) every day. it helps, somehow!

I think turning 35 did something to me in the clothes department. I still wear $5 shirts if I know I'm home all day but I don't want to look frump-a-dump anymore in public. I wore the dark gray-3/4 sleeve top on Saturday with a pair of dark denim jeans and silver ballet flats out shopping. I felt GREAT!!
Boden just added US sizes too, the clothes in the pics are in UK sizes but the other ones I just got are in US sizes. I don't see much difference but I do recommend you read the reviews, they help ALOT. I got a button down shirt recently and everyone commented that it was sized small so I ordered one size up after reading the review and it fit really well.

You won't be disappointed. Check out the clearance stuff periodically, they may just have something in your size that you like. That skirt was only $20!

And you're right Tenny, the feel of the fabric really makes the difference.
