We also start out the Christmas season by watching a Charlie Brown Christmas the first Friday night of December. I like that we've started doing these things.
So here is our choice this year.
And as I type this the tree is 'resting' on the floor/chair. I discovered that it had tipped over this morning. You would've thought someone placed it across the chair. Fortunately it didn't completely crash on the floor. Hubs is taking his lunch break to help me put it back up. As far as I can see, no broken ornaments. This is definitely NOT a tradition I want to start!

that is so funny about your tree on the chair...and now i have a vision of that scene in elf where he jumps on the tree :)
