Snippets of conversations with my 5 1/2 year old today.
This morning:
R: Mommy, can I watch tv?
Me: No, not right now Rachel.
R: Perturbed. I'm going to go watch tv in my room on my own tv.
She doesn't have a tv in her room. (:
I checked on her a little later...
Me: Are you just playing for a little bit?
R: No Mommy! I'm watching tv.
This afternoon on a walk:
R: Mommy, is that a bumblebee?!
Me: Yes, it is.
R: Oh man, I didn't even realize.
Tonight watching the Red Sox, specifically with David Ortiz aka "Big Papi" up at-bat.
R: But how can Papi be everybody's dad?!

Love the picture of Rachel and I love the conversations! It's never a dull moment with little kids.
That's Rachel in her favorite and only climbing tree in our yard. She's in the concentration zone there. (:
My favorite is listening her talk to her little friends. So cute. (:
