We went apple picking to one of my favorite spots this time of year.
That's Hubs' shadow, he's taking very fancypants pictures with his very fancypants camera. I should post some of those sometime, the colors are gorgeous.
While we were apple picking, I turned to my right and saw this view. This is the family's old barn that is now the 'store' and there's a little nature museum in there too. Since it was a barn, the store area is really big and open and oh my, you can smell the 'apple cider donuts made to order right behind the counter' before you walk in the door. I can't eat those but the aroma is just amazing. I do however get a very big cup of their hot mulled cider. Yum!
