I'm trying again but this time I'm starting with the New Testament. Here's the website again, you can choose from several versions and schedules.

i'm glad to hear that i wasn't the only one! i did start last year and fizzles by about march. unfortunately i won't be joining you this year, i got stormie omartian's "praying through the bible," it seems really good do far.

hmm...i have tried the 'Bible in a year', too, but it's not for me - i get too caught up in trying to get it all read and end up not soaking in what i read.
but there are a few specific books of the Bible i really want to study, so my goal this year is to study those a little bit every day.
I started reading my Bible again this year too. And, just like you I always fizzle out. I have the chronological Bible in a year and I love it! After teaching the kids chronological history and Bible together I am getting a TON more out of it and hope I'm a much better teacher. What is sad is that Christian has been reading his Bible every night and I wasn't. He is on path to read it in 3 years...a chapter a night. He's already done a year. Now that's motivation!!!!
velvet-I know what you mean, I'm thinking I'm just going to read the NT for the whole year and really soak it in.
