The numbers game in 10 years: 5 apartments, 1 condo, 1 house. 5 cars and 1 mini-van. Hubs' jobs: 7 and a new one starting next week! My jobs: 5, plus tutoring and oh yeah, motherhood. 2 kids, no pets, still kooky and still broke! (:
We had glorious anniversary plans, 2 nights at a b&b in the mountains and fancy-schmancy dinner train reservations where you travel through the mountains and eat yummer food. Funny thing though, they wanted $$$ for it and alot of it.
So we scaled back and stayed one night in a lovely inn (with a fantastic restaurant)that we've been to before near the ocean. Ahh, the ocean, can't quite go there when it's all lightning, thunder and downpours like it was on Friday. ): We ventured out instead on Saturday when it was cold, windy and misting out (very much like our wedding day).
Regardless of the weather, it was wonderful to get away and spend some time together. As Kate from Jon & Kate Plus 8 says, we're investing in our marriage. Ain't that the truth!
Thanks to my parents for taking care of the gals too.

Aren't you sweet? Thanks. I feel like I've aged way more than 10 years, so sad...I think kids do that to you.
The picture is great. You look more in love now than you did 10 years ago :) So glad you got to get away. Our little getaway is next weekend, yeah!!!
i think my kids have aged me (and pants) waaaay too much! but i think i peaked at about 18, so it's been pretty much downhill from then anyway :)
jtaco is right - you guys do look really in love! ten years is quite the milestone - pants and i are a decade on the 18th! yikes!

my anniv. is in Aug. :) Aug. 1st actually. We have NEVER celebrated on the actual date :) I was thinking....do you think the first 10 years are the craziest??? Will things start to slow down??? We're right along with you on the number of houses, jobs, kids, number of states we've lived in, etc....it's got to slow down, right??????!!!!!
