Super Tuesday

Yesterday was super Tuesday, a big day in politics but I had a super Tuesday of my own. I was greeted first thing in the morning by little fingers and big eyes very close to mine and then giant 5 year old hugs and a sweet as can be, "Happy Birthday, Mommy." That would have been enough for me but there was more! Breakfast was made for me...and I found out from my card that Hub took the day off from work! Yippee! So this was Emma's reaction of my celebration. At the ripe old age of 8 months, it appears that she's already figured out that her mother is a little crazy...At the end of my birthday card, I discovered that there were clues throughout the house that led to my presents which Rachel helped me find. Here's where they were. Rachel decorated them quite nicely too. I got a whole bunch of goodies. Among them-some way cool puzzles (one is Fenway Park, the bestest of course) and my fave eyeliner these days, Avon Glimmersticks in majestic plum. I also received a much needed special pillow for my neck. I think I'll be in good shape because I slept in one position all night=way more comfy. Look at this cute pot!I've always wanted to grow some of my own herbs, I'm super excited about this. It contains: sweet basil, parsley, thyme, chives, cilantro and marjoram. Overall, my day was just wonderful. I was pampered and loved. I even got a yummy meal last night at my parent's house, complete with my very favorite dessert, homemade strawberry rhubarb pie. I also had several birthday wishes from family and friends via email. So, thanks everyone for making my day so special.
